Only a small amount is needed to enliven the taste of any culinary preparation, giving it the distinctive natural character that today’s consumer is looking for.

Cooking tips and tricks

Whether the goal is to vary the flavour or to take advantage of its many nutrients, you can use honey instead of sugar in any recipe. Replace 225 g (1 cup) of white sugar with 345 g (½ cup) of honey. However, note that you will also need to reduce the liquid ingredients in your recipe by about 60 ml (4 tbsp). * For pastries, also reduce the baking temperature by 15°C (25°F).

* Or reduce the liquid ingredients by 250 ml (¼ cup) for each cup of honey used (as honey contains 20% water).
